[Women of Power] Let Your Wardrobe Do the Talking

We’ve all heard the saying ‘Dress for the position you want, not the one you have.’ We’ve heard it, we get it, and we can see it for ourselves. But now it’s time to apply it. The problem here is that there are several women who find it difficult to dress for their body types, or even find the fashions that reflect their personality, comforts, goals or personal sense of style.

Many just opt to keep it safe and play things down, as to avoid drawing attention or missing the fashion mark altogether. Then there are those who already have the garments they need for an impeccable wardrobe, they simply don’t know what to wear, when, and how. If any of these sounds like you, fret not.

The great news is that you don’t have to do it all yourself. Allow Macy’s to help you get your ‘next level’ wardrobe together at the 2016 Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit Macy’s Shopping Excursion. Macy’s Aventura in South Florida invites you to catch up with colleagues over lunch while enjoying an informative fashion presentation on transforming your look and the shoes and accessories that will prove to upgrade your style.

There will also be a fit matter workshop advising you on the best styles for your shape, and you may receive personal styling from MyStylist and concierge service with Connect@Macy’s. You can even check out the beauty bar to find the summer glow to match your summer glam.

As you begin to prepare for a Macy’s shopping excursion at the Women of Power Summit, check out this fashion show by Macy’s at last year’s Women of Power Summit for a little style inspiration.
